I'm Dustin Guard
In 2016 I got out of the U.S. Navy feeling extremely lost in what I was going to do. I went from a good career making decent money to having no money and not knowing what I wanted to do with my life.
I always thought it would be cool to be my own boss but at this point I only knew how to clean cars from a job I had in high school and work on torpedoes from when I was in the service. So of course I went with cleaning cars.
I started a mobile detailing business in 2017 and I fell flat on my face. I did not know how to run a business or get clients. I barely made any money ($20,000 a year) and wanted to quit but I didn't. I put my head down and really studied marketing, branding, sales, and everything that it takes to truly scale.
After really implementing what I learned and trying so many things I finally found some traction and in 2019 made $240,000 from just mobile detailing. In 2020 moved to a shop and made $420,000 that year.
Fast forward to today I have partnered on multiple different businesses equaling over 2.5 million dollars per year, host The Detail Spot Podcast, and teach the framework that I used to grow my detailing business and the same framework that other successful detailing businesses used in their business so that you can grow your business into what you have always dreamed it could be.
